Facebook controversy related to offensive Obama poll

US Secret Service is now involved in finding the users of Facebook who started a poll on the service.

The question asked was “Should Obama be killed?”.

The options were: Yes, No, Maybe and If he cuts my health care.

This poll was removed by the Facebook network as soon as they found out about it.

US Secret Service said: “Once we found out about it, we worked with Facebook to have it removed. We are certainly investigating; just like we would with any threat case.”

Incidentally, that poll had received around 750 responses by the time it was taken down.

The application which was used for the creation of the poll has been suspended till the time authors can make sure that similar offensive polls are not enabled in the future without moderation.
