Palm webOS 1.2 now available for Pre owners
Palm has released the latest update to their webOS mobile platform which powers their Pre smartphone.
This updated edition is now available as a free download.
Palm has incidentally not update the OS to enable syncing with the latest edition of Apple iTunes.
Apple iTunes 9.01 update broke the sync capabilities with the webOS. Looks like Palm has given up.
The new features in this release are:
Users can now buy music from Amazon MP3 over cellular networks.
Paid applications support is coming. Users can now save their credit card data with Palm.
Web Browser bookmarks are now backed up with user’s Palm Profile.
