Yahoo adds its own branding to Flickr Logo
Yahoo continues to annoy Flickr users with their policies and actions.
The internet media giant has now added its own branding on the Flickr logo on the service.
The logo now states: FlickrĀ® from Yahoo!

Yahoo is now facing a major user protest for this new development.
Flickr users are annoyed at Yahoo for putting their branding on the Flickr logo.
The basic idea is that Flickr users hate that the service is owned by Yahoo and that updated logo reminds them of that ugly truth.
Personally, I am scared of the scenario where I could lose access to thousands of my personal photos uploaded on the Flickr service due to some bad decision taken by the parent company. Yahoo makes it very hard to download your photos off the service if you have tons of them hosted online. There are a couple of third party tools which can be used but the Flickr API times out regularly making the process very time consuming and irritating.
