Hide read labels is a very useful Google Gmail Labs option!

Google has added a new Gmail Labs feature named Hide read labels.

As the name suggest, this feature hides the labels which do not have any unread conversation.

This would come handy for those users who have tons of labels set in their Gmail web mail service.

Google already allows the users to hide labels permanently but this new feature is more helpful as it only hides the labels which have nothing new to offer.

Hide read labels is accessible from the Labs section in Google Gmail Settings.
