Migratr is a useful desktop application that can come handy if you are switching your preferred photo sharing service.

Since it is a desktop based application, all the photos are first downloaded to your machine first and then reuploaded to the second service.

For some of you, this can become a very tiresome job. We are still hoping for a future when services would provide connectivity with their rivals to enable data portability! I guess that is too much to ask from these companies.
