Ad.ly is the new Twitter based ad network

Twitter has given enough hints that they do not like their platform to be used for sponsored tweeting.

However, advertising networks are still emerging which aims to promote brands and products through Twitter.

Ad.ly is the latest player in this market.

They are luring high profile Twitter celebrities to do the sponsoring for them.

Each advertising campaign would require the high profile Twitter user to send out four tweets in one week.

These tweets are sent with proper identification as they are delivered through Ad.ly’s own system.

Kim Kardashian, Brooke Burke, Nicole Richie, Brody Jenner, Dr. Drew and Samantha Ronson are some of the celebrities who are taking part in their campaigns.
