TrendsMap is yet another Twitter powered web app that enables you to see the trending topics on Twitter in different countries.

The aim is to provide localized information about the trends as Twitter shows the global results.

It does not really work well for now considering most of the trends are still focused on USA and European parts of the world map.

With Twitter soon going to provide a location based API, it can improve a lot.

TrendsMap has been developed by Stateless Systems who are the creators of another popular web based service RetailMeNot.
