Google News suffers a downtime

Google Gmail was down for us here for a couple of hours. We guess it was not a widespread problem.

But Google has confirmed that their Google News web service suffered some glitches.

They have worked on fixing the problems and it seems to be doing fine now.

Google did not reveal how widespread the problem was. The company just said that few of their users could not access it for a while.

Google’s online services have been making news for their unreliability in the recent times. Gmail downtime makes big news on the web whether it is twitter or the blogs.
