Adobe collaborating with Gigya on Widgets
Adobe Flash powers a lot of things on the web including the world’s most popular video sharing service YouTube.
It is also the technology powering most widgets we see on the web especially blogs.
The company however has little to do with these little applications.
This is now going to change.
Adobe is collaborating with Gigya and they are now launching a new Distribution Manager for widgets created on the Flash Platform.
This manager would make it easier for developers to promote widgets to consumers. Adobe also plans to get into widget based advertising through this platform.
