Wired used Twitter to help wallet-less Brendan Ross
We just noticed some interesting tweets from Wired. Apparently one of their authors lost his wallet and phone stolen at the JFK airport.
Wired tweeted about his plight and location on their Twitter account asking for help.
And they got what they asked for!
The owners of Stock Car Cafe, Concourse B at Charlotte airport are helping him out!
Here are the content of some of the tweets:
S.O.S! @Flyered Terminal Man had wallet & phone stolen in JFK. Can you help us feed him? He’s at CLT today, EWR tmrw, LGA Monday
Our hero! @Flyered will tweet you his info. RT @KarineMacri: @wired I can get him on Monday at LGA, what’s he need and what’s he look like.
The owners of Stock Car Cafe, Concourse B at Charlotte airport#CLT are helping our wallet-less @Flyered tonight. Thanks friends!
Well, I’m in Charlotte and okay for tonight. A Wired reader’s family owns a restaurant here in the airport – thanks guys. Time to write.
