Camino 2.0 Beta 4 released

Google might be taking its time to release a stable edition of Chrome for Mac OS X; the developers of Camino have just released a new beta edition.

Camino 2.0 Beta 4 is now available as a free download.

The latest stable currently is Camino 1.6.9.

Camino developers are warning that the beta edition might not be stable enough for regular usage.

    I really used to love camino. It launces faster than firefox and it’s just more mac-like cause it’s all cocoa. Plus it has the same rendering engine as firefox. but since safari 4 and firefox 3.5 came out they have been my main browsers… I’m excited to give camino another chance when 2.0 comes out of beta.
