Google: Apple rejected Google Voice mobile app

Apple had claimed that they never rejected the Google Voice mobile app for their iPhone.

The company said that they were still investigating the app for potential issues that could be faced by their customers.

Google has now responded in a letter to FCC that Apple had indeed rejected their mobile app claiming that it changed one of the core functionalities of the iPhone.

Google Voice enables the user to use a single telephone number for multiple devices.

All the calls to that number are routed to all the devices connected to it.

Google Voice is now available as a web based application with limited functionalities.
