AIM 7 with social features to arrive next week
AOL would launch a brand new edition of their AIM instant messenger next week.
AIM 7 would come loaded with tons of new functionalities like support for social networks.
The company said that this new version would enable the users to stay connected with their friends and relatives on services like Facebook and Twitter.
AOL further claims that the newly updated user interface is faster and friendlier.
They have added a Lifestream feature that would display updates and let the user post new status updates.
AIM 7 would feature support for several third party services like Facebook, Twitter, Flickr, YouTube, Delicious and Digg.
A beta version is already available for testing purposes.
