Google in talks to acquire Brightcove?
Mark Glaser, Executive Editor of PBS MediaShift has tweeted that Google is currently in talks with Brightcove for a possible acquisition deal.
The tweet mentioned that the value of the deal could be around USD 500-700 million.
Brightcove is a potential challenger to Google owned YouTube service but they service corporate customers only.
They provide video streaming solutions to companies like AOL, The New York Times, and The Washington Post.
The good thing is that Brightcove is already profitable and Google is likely to gain from this deal.
