Google aiming 5% market share with Chrome 3
Google has just released the first stable edition of Google Chrome 3.
Google Chrome has already touched version 4 in the developer’s channel.
The search engine giant is now aiming to do well in the web browser market now that Chrome has matured a bit.
The company is hoping to achieve a 5% market share with Chrome 3 in the coming months.
Google admitted that as of now, Chrome has a market share of around 3 percent.
The company further said that they would be disappointed if they fail to touch around 10% market share in the next two years.
This could possibly mean that the company is giving Chrome 2-3 years to shine otherwise it could be discarded.
Google has now promised to deliver a stable Mac edition of Chrome before the end of the current year.
