H1N1 effect: Microsoft promotes online learning
US based software giant Microsoft has launched a new initiative through which they are promoting web based services in these times when Swine Flu is leading to schools closing down.
The company is promoting their Office Live Workspace service that enables teachers and students to communicate with each other.
Microsoft states that this platform enables them to:
Share assignments
Distribute handouts
Post presentations
Enable group collaboration
This service is being provided free to the involved schools.
