Latest Twitter valuation puts its worth at USD 1 billion!
TechCrunch is reporting that Twitter is closing in on a new venture round that puts its value at around USD 1 billion.
The company is expected to raise around USD 50 million.
The popular micro-blogging service had raised $35+ million earlier this year. That round had put the value of Twitter at around USD 250 million.
TechCrunch added: “The company has raised a total of around $55 million to date, and sources tell us they have approximately $30 million left in the bank.”
