Box.net launches OpenBox Mobile program for the Apple iPhone
Web service Box.net has announced the launch of their OpenBox Mobile program aimed at the developers of mobile applications for the iPhone.
This program would provide tools to connect mobile apps to the Box.net platform to allow sharing of files.
The company spoke about this initiative: “We want to make it easy to share, manage, and access content from anywhere.”
Box.net said that this platform is being used by several mobile applications already like: Smart Recorder, iThoughts, iBlueSky and ReaddleDocs. Quickoffice, iRec, JotNot, and mySticky would soon add similar support.
