Facebook is better than Twitter at one thing at least

Facebook might be feeling the pressure from Twitter as they recently acquired FriendFeed.

The service however has one thing going for it as per Dr Tracy Alloway.

Alloway has stated that using Facebook in fact is similar to playing war videogames or Sudoku. It enhances intelligence.

However, using Twitter and similar services does the opposite by weakening working memory.

Alloway added: ”On Twitter you receive an endless stream of information, but it’s also very succinct. You don’t have to process that information. Your attention span is being reduced and you’re not engaging your brain and improving nerve connections.”
