Nokia launches Ovi SDK
World’s leading mobile phone maker Nokia has launched a beta version of the software development kit for their OVI platform.
The company said that this SDK would enable developers to deploy applications across multiple devices, quickly and easily.
It now comes with navigation APIs that would enable the coders to ‘bring navigation directly into applications.’
Using this SDK, third party developers can now code applications for both Symbian and Maemo mobile platforms.
Nokia said that the Ovi SDK uses regular web technologies like HTML, CSS and JavaScript.
