Apple updates Java on Mac but ships older Flash Player with Snow Leopard
Apple has issued a patch for users of Mac OS X. This patch updates the Java for the Mac OS X Leopard users.
The company is however making news for delivering an older insecure version of Adobe Flash Player with their Snow Leopard operating system.
The update for the Java fixes at least 16 security flaws in the program.
These patches are available through the software update utility in the Mac OS X operating system.
Users of Snow Leopard are suggested to manually update their Flash player by going to the Adobe website.
