Google has a warning for developers of iGoogle Gadgets
Google has notified in a blog post that they would soon start labelling iGoogle gadgets which are not performing well as SLOW.
These applications would be marked as SLOW in the gadgets directory as a warning to the users who might be interested in installing them.
Google said that this is a message for all the concerned developers to optimize their products so that they perform well for the end user.
Google said:
Users love fast gadgets. Fast gadgets are more likely to remain installed, and will see higher usage. Fast gadgets may also cost less to keep running.
