Apple releases firmware updates for Mac Mini and SuperDrive

Apple might be working on launching their latest generation of iPods later this month but they are still pretty busy with their other offerings.

The company just recently launched their latest operating system product Mac OS X Snow Leopard.

Apple has today released some firmware upgrades. These updates are for their Mac Mini computer and some other models which come loaded with SuperDrive.

The company said that the Mac mini EFI Firmware Update 1.2 would improve system compatibility with latest Apple memory kits.

The firmware update for the SuperDrive is designed to eliminate the excessive noise made by these drives under certain conditions.
