Palm OS Sync support dropped from Mac OS X Snow Leopard?

It is now pretty clear that Mac OS X Snow Leopard has dropped the support for the Palm OS mobile platform.

Incidentally Palm itself is no longer using this mobile OS on their devices. The company has betted their future on their new webOS platform.

This has now become an issue for thousands of users of smartphones powered by Palm OS.

Apple and Palm are yet to comment on this issue being faced by users who are now using Snow Leopard.

The Missing Sync for Palm OS is apparently the only option out for these users. It’s a paid application costing around USD 40.
