Spotify comes to Apple App Store!
Apple has done the unthinkable. The company has approved the much talked about mobile app version of Spotify music service.
Spotify competes with Apple iTunes in some international markets and the arrival on the Apple App Store would boost its popularity.
Spotify is an ad-supported service that enables the user to listen to streaming songs for free.
It is currently available in several European markets like UK, Sweden, Norway, Finland, France and Spain.
Users have the option to pay for the service to remove the ads and get additional features.
Spotify spokesman Jim Butcher said in a statement that the mobile app has been approved and it would appear in the supported markets in the coming days.
