Microsoft to launch Windows 7 in New York
US based software giant Microsoft has announced that the formal launch of Windows 7 operating system would be done in New York.
Incidentally, the company had launched their Windows Vista operating system in New York as well.
Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer would preside over the launch ceremony.
Windows 7 is the next edition of the Windows operating system which remains the most used OS in the world.
Windows 7 is very important for Microsoft after the PR fiasco that Windows Vista turned out to be.
The launch is set to take place on October 22.
