Google Gmail finally gets the contact chooser

Google Gmail is loved for having a bare bone interface which is very powerful.

But the service has been adding features which are common on rival services and are liked by a lot of the web users.

Contact Chooser is one such feature which has just been added to Gmail.

Contact Chooser enables the user to open a popup window to pick contacts from a list to send an email to.

Gmail has till now required the user to manually type in the email ids.

Google said in a blog post:

Auto-complete is convenient and fast, and usually does the trick. But sometimes seeing your list of contacts can help you remember all the people you want to include on your email. So, we’ve added a contact chooser to Gmail.
