Adobe Creative Suite 3 is not officially supported on Mac OS X Snow Leopard
Adobe has created a lot of bad PR for them with their revelation.
The company has stated that they are not supporting Adobe Creative Suite 3 on the upcoming Mac OS X Snow Leopard.
Mac OS X Snow Leopard is all set to arrive tomorrow.
A lot of users on Leopard are expected to upgrade and install Snow Leopard on their Apple Macs.
Apple has priced the update at just around USD 30 making it a no-brainer.
However, upgrading from Adobe Creative Suite 3 to version 4 is much more expensive.
It’s a shame that a relatively simple OS upgrade (Leopard to Snow Leopard) is being used as an excuse by Adobe.
The company stated: “Adobe will support Creative Suite 4 software running with Snow Leopard according to its standard customer support policies. Older versions of Adobe Creative Suite software were not designed to run on Mac OS X Snow Leopard (v10.6), so you may experience issues installing and using the software for which there are no solutions.”
