Twitter had 51.6 million unique visits last month

Micro-blogging service Twitter continues to become more and more popular.

The service reached an important milestone last month if we are to believe the data provided by comScore.

As per comScore, Twitter had around 51.6 million unique visits last month.

This is the first time Twitter has managed to cross the 50 million mark and this shows the growing popularity of the service.

Last month was a big one for the company. Twitter launched a new homepage for new users which highlighted their search feature along with the popular trends on the web.

The numbers are just an indication however. A lot of Twitter users do not even visit the website as they use third party tools and services to stay connected.
