Rhapsody mobile app might appear on Apple App Store

Rhapsody has been working extra hard to get the much needed media attention to make sure Apple is forced to approve their new mobile app for the Apple iPhone.

Rhapsody mobile application would enable their paying subscribers to get access to their favourite sound tracks.

Users would be able to play any of the 8 million songs available in their catalogue.

The only problem is that Apple does not like approving applications which compete with their own products… Apple iTunes in this case.

Apple has still not approved Spotify which is similar in nature but does not work in the US market at the moment.

Apple has been under massive pressure due to the intervention of FCC who is investigating the reasons Google Voice mobile app has not been approved for the iPhone platform.
