BlackBerry could get full Flash and Silverlight support next year

Research in Motion has a tough task in its hand to compete with Apple iPhone in the global market.

The company seems to be working on something that Apple is not even considering.

RIM is said to be working on bringing full support for Adobe Flash and Microsoft Silverlight technologies on their smartphones.

The company could announce the compatibility sometime next year with the launch of new more powerful devices.

Most mobile devices currently support Adobe Flash Lite platform which does not feature all the capabilities of the desktop version of Adobe Flash.

Silverlight is yet to get on the mobile platform. Apple has practically rejected supporting these two technologies as they probably want HTML5 to takeover in the coming years.

Silverlight seems to be stable since 3.0 version. All my reported bugs were fixed.
