MySpace confirms iLike deal!

TechCrunch was correct. MySpace is indeed acquiring music recommendation service iLike.

The social networking service would acquire this company which is very popular on their rival platform Facebook.

MySpace has not revealed the financial aspects of this acquisition deal.

iLike founders Ali and Hadi Partovi and Nat Brown would now join MySpace after the acquisition is complete.

Market experts have said that the deal is worth just around USD 20 million which is a bargain price.

MySpace has been working hard on revamping their services to become more of an entertainment portal.

They already have a dedicated music streaming service. And they are also home to several international bands and indie music artists.
