Pidgin 2.6.1 released
The developers behind the popular instant messaging program Pidgin have released a brand new version.
They have released Pidgin 2.6.1 (Pidgin 2.6.0 was released earlier today).
This is a major update as it brings in two new features.
The developers have now added support for both voice and video in the libpurple. This can now be added to the Pidgin through protocol plugins.
They are currently supporting these new features on XMPP protocol.
They are also now supporting themes in pidgin.
