Google Blogger to turn 10 years old on August 23

Blogging is older than you think it is. Most of us have been blogging or reading blogs since the last couple of years. But the service that made it popular Blogger is now close to 10 years old.

Blogger is now owned by Google and it would turn 10 this coming August 23.

Pyra Labs had launched this product way back in 1999. The service was sold to Google in 2003.

The current developers of this service are going to launch some new features on the service to celebrate the occasion.

Nothing is confirmed though. The service has made available a page where users can vote for their favourite new features.

Some of these are:
Improved commenting system
WordPress style pages
Read counts for posts
Captions for images
