Gmail overtakes AOL Mail in USA
Google Gmail is now the third most popular webmail service in the US market.
It has just overtaken AOL Mail and now trails Yahoo Mail and Hotmail.
These results are from the latest figures released by comScore.
Gmail now has around 37 million monthly visitors in USA compared to 47 million for Hotmail.
Yahoo Mail has a pretty solid lead with 106 million unique visitors on a monthly basis.
Google Gmail has been growing at a pretty solid pace and it should be able to overtake Hotmail pretty soon.
But catching Yahoo Mail in this market would require something special from the search industry giant.
