Google Reader gets more social features

Google has been working hard on enhancing their Google Reader web application to make it more useful to fans of RSS feeds.

Google has added a couple of new features which makes Google Reader more social.

Here are some of the new features:

Send To: This feature enables you to share an interesting article found on Google Reader directly to services like Blogger, Facebook and Twitter. You can customize the list of services that are visible here.

Feeds from people you follow: Google Reader would suggest new feeds from people and sites you follow. You could also get suggestions based on your reading habits.

More capable Mark all as read button: In case you are flooded with RSS Feeds, you tend to use the Mark all as Read button. Google Reader has made this button more powerful. Now you can selectively mark feeds as read based on their age.
