Mozilla Firefox 3.6 Alpha 1 released
Mozilla released the first alpha of their next edition of the Firefox web browser.
Mozilla Firefox 3.6 alpha 1 is now available as a free download.
Firefox developers have named this new edition Namoroka and the stable version is expected to arrive next year.
Mozilla Firefox 3.5 was just released a couple of weeks ago.
Some of the improvements in the first alpha are related to performance. They have further improved the performance of the new TraceMonkey JavaScript engine in this version of Firefox.
This new version also supports a couple of new CSS properties. CSS gradients are supported for example.

I have only downloaded firefox 3.6 alpha a few hours ago, but so far wow! Very stable, boots up fast, and is clearly faster than firefox 3.52.
