Microsoft Office Web Apps to support IE, Firefox and Safari
Microsoft developers have revealed the official browser support information about their upcoming Office Web Apps.
The officially supported browsers are:
Internet Explorer 7 and 8
Firefox 3.5 on Windows, Mac and Linux
Safari 4 on Mac
You can clearly see that Google Chrome and Opera Browser are not present on this list.
The developers do mention that they are not going to block any other browser though support is not guaranteed.
Microsoft added that the capabilities of the web suite would be enhanced if the user has installed Silverlight browser plug-in.
