Bit.ly wants to save Tr.im
Mashable is reporting that Bit.ly has contacted the operators of Tr.im link shortening service to help them save the service.
Tr.im has just announced that they are closing down operations as the service does not generate any form of revenues for them.
This means that thousands of links passing through the service would soon die. Tr.im has assured that they would try to keep the links working till the end of the current year.
Mashable has reported:
Betaworks tells us that they’ve reached out to Tr.im’s founder and “offered to host his URL mappings starting tomorrow”.
