Google Voice now open for US Military

Google has announced that they are now providing their service Google Voice to members of US military.

They would not require any kind of invite to become a member of this service which is designed to make telephony communications easier.

U.S. Army Sgt. Dale Sweetnam said that the service can now be used by anyone with a .mil email address.

He said: “It’s not easy to stay in touch with friends and family when you’re fighting in a country thousands of miles from home. The whole experience was physically and emotionally draining, but it was especially difficult when I called home at the end of the day and nobody was there to answer.”

Google Voice enables a user to have a single number for communication which can used to connect to any number of devices.
