Bodega aims to be app store for Mac users

Apple already has the App Store for the users of Apple iPhone and iPod Touch.

Now, IDFusion Software and Centrix.ca are working together on a new product named Bodega which plans to provide similar functionality for the users on Mac OS X.

Bodega has been designed to make it easy for Mac users to find the applications they need for a specific purpose.

It provides information about applications which are sorted into relevant categories. Customers get the options to purchase the paid ones and download the free ones from the interface itself.

Mac software makers are free to add their own product into their catalogue.
