Google to advertise Google Apps through billboards in USA
Google has rarely advertised outside the web medium.
Google Chrome was featured in some television advertising.
And now the search engine giant would promote their Google Apps web services through billboards in the US market.
Sources say that the company has leased billboards in major American cities including New York, San Francisco, Chicago and Boston.
These would be used to promote the premium edition of Google Apps service that costs around USD 50 per user.
Google spoke about this new development: “People don’t necessarily think of Google when it comes to how we can help companies.”
