Microsoft music streaming service delayed
The Telegraph has reported that Microsoft has delayed the launch of the rumoured music streaming service they have been working on since some time now.
This service is expected to be similar to Spotify. It was originally planned for launch by the end of July month.
A Microsoft representative has been quoted as saying: “In the coming months, MSN is planning a new music service in beta via its Music channel in the UK. At this stage we won’t be confirming the details behind this but more information will be available soon and will be communicated in due course.”
This service is expected to be totally free supported by advertising.
Microsoft further admits: “Music is an important area for Microsoft. We are looking at launching a music streaming service imminently.”
