Mozilla Firefox: Downloaded 1 billion times!
Mozilla has crossed an interesting milestone with their Firefox web browser product.
Mozilla revealed that the popular open source product has been downloaded more than 1 billion times.
The milestone was reached earlier today.
These download includes every version of the Firefox web browser starting from the first release in 2004.
Even at this moment Firefox is being downloaded at a rate of around 24 downloads per second.
Mozilla Firefox is currently the second most popular web browser in the world.
