Verizon VCAST App Store announced
US based telecom giant Verizon has announced their own mobile store.
They have named it VCAST App Store.
The company announced that the revenues generated from sales of mobile applications would be shared in the ratio of 70-30 with developers getting the higher amount.
Developers of mobile apps would also get access to their billing platform for easy transactions.
Verizon has also announced collaboration with Research in Motion. RIM would preload this new mobile store on their smartphones.
Incidentally, Blackberry has their own mobile store named BlackBerry App World.
