Facebook allows one time change of usernames
Facebook made headlines when they started allowing their members to have usernames on the service.
This enabled Facebook users to have their own Facebook.com/xyz as the link to their profile pages.
Millions of Facebook users registered their own usernames within days.
At that time, the company suggested that the feature would be provided only once to the user. The account name once set would not be changeable.
They have changed that stance now. Facebook is now allowing members to change their username on the service.
But now, they are getting only one chance to do it. You can access this new option from settings feature in Facebook.
