Pandora gets more funding now that royalty issue is solved
Online radio service Pandora has revealed that they have received millions of dollars in new funding.
It became easy for them to generate these additional funding sources after the music royalty related issues were resolved recently.
Greylock Partners is said to be investing close to around 35 million dollars in Pandora.
The investment firm said in a statement: “The team at Pandora is really passionate about music and they have worked hard to provide people a great online listening experience. Pandora has reached some impressive milestones, including a user base of 30 million registered users, and it is growing faster than ever. We are really excited about working with the company to help accelerate that growth.”
None of the two parties revealed the exact details of this fresh investment.
Pandora said that they would be using these new funds to further expand the usability of the service.
