LG Electronics launches mobile application store

LG Electronics has become the latest mobile phone maker to launch its own mobile application store.

The company said that the store would for now focus on the Asian markets. They plan to go global by the end of the year.

This new store has been named LG Application Store and it current has on offer around 1400 applications.

This store is now open to LG mobile phone users in Singapore, Malaysia and Australia.

The company said that they are aiming to offer around 2000 applications by the end of the year as they aim to go global with this store.
