Intel helping Google on their Chrome OS!

Intel has confirmed that they are one of the partners of Google in their upcoming Chrome OS.

Google Chrome OS was announced a couple of days ago. It would be an operating system designed for the web.

It would be powered with the Linux kernel and Chrome web browser would be the front-end.

Intel has been one of the reasons for Microsoft’s success in the operating systems market. Wintel as the duo is called dominates the global market.

Intel processors however are now also used in all Apple Macs. Linux of course runs on Intel processors.

Google Chrome OS incidentally would also support ARM processors to make it suitable for running on low cost computing machines.
