Michael Jackson Memorial Service watched by millions
The memorial for Michael Jackson was conducted last night. The event was watched by millions on television sets around the world. It was broadcast on Star World in India.
It was also a huge hit online as thousands of web users tweeted about it on Twitter and other social networks.
Thankfully, the rush was not massive and the internet survived. The news of the death of Michael Jackson was pretty massive in comparison as it resulted in massive traffic boost on web services around the world.
Ken Godskind, chief strategy officer for AlertSite stated that Twitter also functioned well during the event though there were some slowdowns.
The event was also broadcast on the web by several web services including ABC News, Hulu, MySpace and Fox News.

Michael Jackson would still be remembered as the only King of Pop. We would surely miss him.
